Wrong exepction type when using CheckParam method

The exception types raised by the doCheck() method of the CheckParam class where modified by !35 (merged).

Therefore, all the parts of the project that used this method must be modified accordingly, since they are now expecting a different exception time (RuntimeError instead of ValueError).
